VSAE Strategic Plan
….ALL FUTURE VSAE projects and actions should be structured to accomplish one or more of these outcomes. If these outcomes are accurate, any future VSAE activity failing to produce one of these results is not in keeping with the desires of the membership as determined in our recent survey.
VSAE Targeted Outcomes or Results for Future Programs
VSAE Shall:
- Consistently delivers problem-solving opportunities and forums for Active Members.
- Identify emerging trends (with special emphasis on technology) and inform Active Members.
- Maintain efficient governance, with decisions reflecting all segments of the membership.
- Increase staff specialist participation through continuing education.
- Continue to offer education and networking opportunities for VSAE Active Members.
- Strive to be a unified voice for positive legislative and regulatory environment for the association community.
- Be recognized by members, the media, public officials and the general public as the leader in Virginia’s association community and promote understanding of the profession.
- Target various segments of VSAE membership and deliver products and services accordingly.
Vision
VSAE provides a forum to get Virginia association executives together sharing the tools, information, education and interactive opportunities required to succeed in association management. VSAE is an effective, respected and recognized voice of the association community in Virginia. VSAE provides leadership in achieving cooperation with others to accomplish the goals and objectives of the Commonwealth of Virginia and the association.
Mission
VSAE promotes the education, recognition and interaction among association executives in Virginia to ensure their effectiveness and professionalism.
VSAE's Customer
A1 - A Virginia association chief executive.
A2 - Association middle management and administrative support staff person.
NOTE: Suppliers of goods and services to associations in Virginia are associate members who support VSAE goals.
